The Nester has gone and let me have run of her blog again. She’s in the midst of 31 Days to a Better Dressed Nest, and I put in my two cents… She provided the pictures!

I went. I saw. I came back! As soon as my van comes back to my house, I’ll be off to get some beadboard and fix a cabinet door. My BIL said I can do it myself and I believe him, he’s a contractor and knows I’m not!
Loved the post RG! You and the Nester are a great DIY decorating duo ๐
Oh and does sewing a loose seam on a pillow count? ๐
Blessings!
Ok, I’m a nerd to post again. But here’s my story. I went to buy beadboard, but they didn’t have any (I live in a small, small town) so the guy at the lumberyard ended up giving me a scrap of plywood (which he cut to the right size for me!) and I sanded the corners so it fit in the space. Now I just have to decide how to make it look fun/cute/whimsical/something else? since it won’t match all the other cupboard doors. Then I’m going to put it in with some of those little picture frame point thingys. When I get a few more minutes of time, that is!!
Now I think I need a bigger store, a handsaw, a palm sander and one of those big metal corner straight edge things! But really, I did it with a scrap from a computer and my utility knife!
